We arrived in Japan 10days ago and have had such a good time that time has
just flown by.
私たちは、１０日前にここに着いたばかりなのに、時が経つのは、なんと早いこと

とてもすばらしい時間を過ごせました。

When we arrived at Narita airport it was for us very warm and since then
everything about Japan has been warm, particularly the welcome everywhere we
have been.
私たちが日本に着いたとき、とても暖かく迎えてくれました。またそれ以来、どこへ
行っても暖かく、わたしたちを歓迎してくれました。

The people have as we say in England been “very warm-hearted” and they
have all worked very hard to give us a good time.
イングランドで聞いていたように、日本の人々はとても暖かく、私たちに楽しい時間
を作ってくれました。

We have been given the privilege of sharing your homes, which we have
enjoyed very much, and will never forget the kindness of our hosts.
ホームスティでは、特別のおもてなしをしてもらいました。私たちはそのやさしさを
決して忘れることはないでしょう。

On Wednesday you were very kind and took us all to Tokyo Disneyland and had
a really enjoyable day.
水曜日には、東京ディズニーランドに招待してくださりありがとうございました。と
ても楽しかったです。

We went on many rides, including the space mountain lots of times, Lee was
sick, and enjoyed watching the parade and a Japanese thunderstorm.
ディズニーランドでは、たくさんの乗り物に乗り続けました。スペースマウンテンに
は何回も乗り、リーは、気分が悪くなってしまいましたが、パレードや日本の雷を見
ることもできとても楽しむことができました。

We have had many types of traditional Japanese food; most of us have enjoyed
it, although some still prefer England food.
いろんなタイプの伝統的な日本の食事をおいしく食べることができました。（ただ、
それでもイングランドの食事の方が好きですが…）

Our days playing and training with your players have shown us that the game
should be played hard an enjoyed.
日本の皆さんとハードな試合や練習を一緒にしましたが、楽しんでプレーすることが
できました。
We have had some very good matches in very different conditions to those we
play in England and have never drunk so much water (particularly Mr. Brown).
私たちは、イングランドとは違った、厳しいコンディションで、いい試合をすること
ができました。こんなに多くの水を飲んだことはイングランドでは、今までありませ
んでした。（特にブラウン団長）

Tomorrow we must leave you and while we are looking forward to meeting our
friends and families back home, we are very sad to be leaving our new
friends behind.
私たちは明日、帰らなければなりません。友達や家族に会えることは楽しみにしてま
すが、ここでできた新しい友達と別れることはとても悲しいです。

The memories we have will live with us for many years and we have learned
much about your country and culture, but still have much more to learn.
多くの思い出が長い間、私たちの心の中に残るでしょう。私たちは、あなたたちの国
からこの国のこと、文化を学びました。けれど、まだまだ学ぶことがあります。

When we get back to England we will tell our families and friends about the
good times we have had in Japan.
イングランドに戻ったら、家族や友達に日本で過ごした素敵な時間を話します。

They will all find it difficult to believe, because such kindness and
generosity is unusual in England.
きっと、彼らは信じようとしないでしょう。なぜなら、イングランドではこのような
親切さ、寛大さは、ほとんどないからです。

We all look forward returning to Japan soon to renew our friendships and to
learn even more about your country.
私たちは、友情を新たにする為、またこの国のことを学びに、日本へ戻って来ること
を楽しみにしてます。

We look forward to welcoming you to England one day, so that we can return
the hospitality, which has been shown, to us and renew our rivalry on court.
そして、皆さんをイングランドに迎える事ができる日を楽しみにしてます。その時に
は、この感謝をお返しします。イングランドのコートで試合をしましょう。
